Service Charge and Fee Changes
Beginning August 1, 2010, Macklin Credit Union will change the way it charges for its services. We are introducing a series of packaged accounts (effective August 1, 2010) and fees (effective September 1, 2010) to cover the cost of a variety of services. Your Board of Directors made this decision in close consultation with management. It is something we have considered for a number of years. This change is necessary to make sure that we can meet our members’ needs into the future.
Investing in our future – We have set our new account fees and service charges at a very competitive option for our members. We remain committed to providing the best financial products and services at the lowest possible cost.
What’s next? – Based on your transaction history over the last several months a letter will be forwarded to you if there are changes affecting you, recommending which package is the best option to meet your needs. If you are happy with this choice, you do not need to do anything. Your account will automatically be converted over to this package in August. Should you wish to consider a different package, please indicate which package you would prefer, sign and return the letter or stop into the branch and we can discuss your options.
